Newborn photography

The best time to book your session is during your pregnancy. I’ll pencil in your due date and keep space around that time for your session. Once your baby arrives, simply send me a quick message and we will arrange a suitable day and time for your session. I only take a limited number of newborns each month to allow flexibility. Booking early secures your spot.

For those beautiful sleepy images, it’s best to photograph babies when they are under 3 weeks old, ideally between 10 and 15 days. After the 3-week mark, they tend to be less sleepy and a little more challenging to pose. That said, I love photographing babies of all ages and consider newborns to be anywhere up to 3 months old. While your gallery may look slightly different from those early-week sessions, you’ll still receive timeless, meaningful images.

Studio newborn sessions take place in my natural light photography studio in Cranbourne South. The space is bright and airy, featuring natural light, soft linens, and neutral white walls. It’s perfect for creating simple, minimalist portraits that capture genuine emotions. You’ll have access to my client closet dresses, which you can try on right before your session.

In-home newborn sessions allow you to capture those special moments right in the comfort of your own home. There’s no need to rush out the door, pack the diaper bag, or strap baby into the car seat. Having the session at home means you have everything you need right there, and we can include meaningful details—whether it’s the nursery you lovingly prepared or your dog checking out the new baby.

Sessions last 2-3 hours, allowing plenty of time for settling and feeding the baby. I offer a combination of posed newborn images and lifestyle portraits with parents and siblings. With over 13 years of experience as a professional newborn photographer, I am dedicated to ensuring that your baby is always completely safe and comfortable.

I provide all necessary props, such as backdrops, wraps, hats/headpieces, and have access to a client wardrobe. I like to use natural colors and textures. My main focus is to capture the beauty of your baby, ensuring that your images will remain forever timeless.

Maternity Photography

Maternity photo sessions are best scheduled around 30-36 weeks. You can choose between a beautiful outdoor setting or a cozy studio session, depending on your preference. Whether it's the golden light of an outdoor location or the soft, intimate feel of a studio session, we'll create timeless images that celebrate this special time in your life.

Family Photography

My photography is all about capturing the unique personalities of your children and the genuine connections within your family.

I photograph on location—whether it’s your favorite park, the beach, a scenic country field, or the comfort of your home. It could be a place that holds special meaning for your family, or if you're unsure, I can suggest beautiful locations across Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula that work wonderfully for family sessions.

The best time for an outdoor session is often during the Golden Hour—that magical time just before sunset when the light is soft and warm. However, I understand that late sessions can be tricky with little ones, so I’m happy to start in the morning or at an earlier time that suits your family.

Family sessions typically last 1 to 1.5 hours. We'll play, explore, laugh, and capture genuine moments of connection. My goal is to create a relaxed and enjoyable experience, blending natural, candid moments with a few lightly posed portraits.

Cake Smash & Splash session

A cake smash portrait session is a wonderful way to celebrate your baby's first birthday, creating beautiful memories you'll cherish for years! We begin with family photos, capturing moments with your baby, siblings, and parents. Then, the real fun begins with the cake smash, followed by a splash session to clean up the mess and add even more adorable photos.

I provide a balloon garland in your chosen colors, and you just need to bring the cake. Additionally, I have adorable outfits available for your little one to wear during the session.
